On November 26, 2008, terror revisited Mumbai's Taj and Oberoi hotels and Nariman House among others. The country's financial capital was laid siege by a group of terrorists suspected to be part of the LeT, or Lakshar-e-Taliba, for more than 50 hours. The entire ordeal ended on November 29 at a huge cost to property and human life.
