Ahluwalia Expects Inflation will ease by Dec 10

The Deputy Chairman of Planning Commission, Montek Singh Ahluwalia expects the inflation will be down by the end of this year. He is also optimistic about the good growth of Industrial Output. He added that there was no need to quicken the monetary policy contain inflation, as IIP is back on its track. Last year the IIP was in negative slope and now the growth is remarkable.

Any tighten in the monetary policy will flush more money or shrink the liquidity in the market. In the both cases are not good for the economy. It can be expected that by the end of this year the market will revive and the inflation will also ease.
