MindTree gets ADM Services Contract from Aadhaar

One of leading IT solutions company, MindTree bags an application development and maintenance (ADM) services contract from Aadhaar, according to media reports. The value of the project was not declared by the company. The impact of getting project was seen high on the MindTree shares on Thursday, those rose by around 3.41% touching to Rs 569.40.

MindTree's new contract involves the tasks of designing, developing, testing, maintaining and providing help desk services from the UIDAI’s Bangalore technology centre. Aadhaar is a government project that deals over government authentication or identification programme for every Indian citizen based on biometric verification. In other words, unique identity card for every Indians that will help them as their identity proof in every part of the country.
