Sensex at 17863.15 and Nifty in Green and Metal Shares Shine

The stock market on Monday the first day of the week was splendid day for the investors, as the Sensex was touched the two months high at around 17900, which was around 305 points up. In the intra-day trading that was the highest point sensex achieved. The market was in green and investors achieved good profit due the global clues and in particularly due to China’s decision to revalue its currency.

The market trading was seen no big volatile in the day. With the opening bell, the trading of shares started with low pace but the market soon captured the attention of investors. The Monday trading in the stock market indicates that the week would be a good time for investors, but the market may come down any times with sort of global or domestic forces.

The top gainers in sensex were Sterlite Inds, Tata Steel, Hindalco Inds, ICICI Bank, Tata Power, Jaiprakash Asso, Mahindra & Mahindra, DLF, Jindal Steel, Reliance Infra, L&T, ACC, Maruti Suzuki, BHEL, HDFC, ITC and many other companies.(Updated at 4pm) .

In the indices - midcap, smallcap, BSE 500, Metal, Realty and Teck were the gainers on Monday stock trading.
