This week the Indian stock market was bit volatile for the investors. At the end of the August there was pressure on the stock market due the selling from the FIIs. Last week the markets recoverd their losses and manged to post positive returns.
This week, on the first day of September, the market were at loss, but managed to back on track and ended with some positive notes. Significant rise in BSE, Nifty was seen in the Monday comparing to the figures of previous week closing time. However, in terms of gain, the markets could not sustain the faith of the investors.

Nifty, BSE top indices failed to sustain their growth rate in the week, on a week-on-week basis, the Sensex rose by 223 points or 1.2 per cent to close at 18221.43. The S&P CNX Nifty also gained 71 points, or 1.3%, to close at 5479.4 for the week and Metal Index gained around 3 per cent this week.
