Agitation in France over Senate's nod to Pension Bill

French Senate has passed a controversial pension reform Bill. Opposing the move over the pension bill people came out on street and started agitation.

There are some changes in the pension bill that caused agitation and protest in France. The present bill proposes changes in the minimum retirement age from 60 to 62 and the full state pension age from 65 to 67, according to media reports.

A joint committee of Senate and National Assembly members are scheduled to meed on Monday, Oct 25 to finalized the fate of the pension bill.

After approval from the members, the bill again will be send to both houses of Parliament for again voting on the bill.
