Dell forays into mobile handset market in India

Soon mobile user find two smart mobile handsets manufactured by the Dell, India’s largest PC seller. Dell introduces its two smart phones in India.

The smartphones from Dell would cost around Rs. 11,000 to Rs. 17,000. The smartphones from Dell would be available in Indian market by this December.

Dell's new smart phones will face strong competition from the other smartphones in the mobile handset market in India.

The value of Indian handset/mobile market would be around Rs. 30,000 crores. Dell introduced the smartphones targeting the 3G services, those soon would be started by private telecom service providers in India.

Tata-DoCoMo had started its first 3G services in Kolkata recently and mother other companies to join the race. The major mobile makers in India are Nokia, Samsung and Micromax.

However, the bottomline is the mobile users will now find latest smartphones from Dell to compare with existing smartphones in India for the features and review.
