Facebook, Skype to Launch Video Chat?

Facebook in association with Skype may start start video chatting service on its social networking site. Now the users of Facebook will have the facility of video chatting.

Currently, Facebook has around more than 500 million users world –wide and experts believe that the number users will increase after the new feature of video chat is introduced.

Recently, Microsoft purchased for a whopping $ 8.5 billion. The video chatting service may be a joint venture of Facebook and Skype.

The Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is poised to announce “awesome" new feature on July 6. Experts and some popular blogs have also mentioned that the new feature will be the video chatting service only.

Introducing the video chatting service on Facebook is aimed to beat the Google Plus (Google +), which was recently launched by the search engine giant Google.

However, the official announcement by Facebook will be made on Wednesday at its Palo Alto headquarters.
