Read Bhagavad Gita in School or Leave India, Why?

The education minister of Karnataka, Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri said that every Indian should respect Bhagvad Gita, the Hindu sacred text, else they should leave India.

On July 9th, the minister had issued a circular proposing schools should teach BhaLinkgavad Gita to students at least for an hour on daily basis.

Why students should read the sacred book compulsorily in schools? What does mean a secular state so called India?

Such remarks make the country as well as the community unhealthy and may drag it to social unrest.

Political parties should keep politics out of the education, where our future citizens should not learn hate-politics at least.

How Muslim community will react to it? Its quite obvious that they will and they should not accept this at any cost.

Hope this issue will be sorted out amicable in the state without spreading across the country making mockery of Indian democracy and secularism.
