Play Books App from Google Comes to India

Google has at last launched the Google Play Books app on Google Play for India. Google Play Books app is an application that lets users read their favorite stuff on the go.

The description on Google Play Books States: Choose from millions of titles on Google Play including new releases, New York Times best sellers, up-and-coming authors, and free books.

Like its competitors Kindle and Amazon, Google Play Books app provides a similar reading experience. Google Play Books also allows reader to choose from a wide range of books, magazines, journals and more, similar to Apple’s iBook app.

Though there are over 4 million books on Google Play, not all books are free. Users can also purchase books through the app and store them for reading at a later date.

Not only this keeping the Indian preferences and authors in mind, the Google Play Books app also includes a number of authors from the India. The Leading ones among them are Khushwant Singh, Amish Tripathi, Ashwin Sanghi and Ravinder Singh.
