Sensex slides below 20,000 marks

The BSE Sensex on Tuesday tanked below 20,000 mark following the fall in the Chinese stock market.

Last week the BSE Sensex was on all time high breaching the max point of 21,000 points.

There were speculations of the technical corrections in the market as it touched the highest ever figures.

The Sensex opened at 20312.76 points on Tuesday and touched the highest at 20382.29 and around 341 points.

The external and global clues hit the market sentiment and made it to down. The market was at 19,902 and the Nifty declined 130 points to 5,991, till the report is filed.
