Kapil Sibal to get Telecom ministry

The Minister for Human Resources Development, Kapil Sibal is reportedly given the additional portfolio of Telecom Ministry as it was vacated by DMK's A Raja following the 2 G Spectrum scam, according to media reports.

It was speculated that the Prime Minister would retain the Telecom Ministry with him.

The opposition have stalled the Parliament proceedings of both the parties over the issue. The opposition parties in the Parliament have been demanding for Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) on the 2G spectrum scam.

The government will hold meeting with all parties over the 2G Spectrum Scam, according to media reports.
