BSE Sensex shed 65 points at 20,036

BSE Sensex
The BSE Sensex was down by 65 points on the second day of the week – Tuesday post lunch session. The Sensex was at 20,036.90 points shedding 64.92 points or 0.32 per cent loss at 2:21 p.m.

All the major indices were to down during the post lunch session today, MIDCAP was at 7,126.32 points with 29.07 down or loss of 0.41 per cent.

SMLCAP was down by 25.82 at 7,345.83 points or registering loss of 0.35 per cent.
BSE-100 was trading during post lunch at 6,127.08 points with shedding 23.71 points or loss of 0.39 per cent.

BSE-500 was trading at 7,734.42 points with down 29.94 points or 0.39 percent. 
 
Gainers:

The top gainers in the post lunch session were Pantaloon Retl was with LTP of 272.35, change 29.75 (12.26%); Berger Paints at LTP 167.60, change 5.45 (3.36%);  Kotak Mah Bank at LTP    645.60, change 16.55 ( 2.63%); Asian Paints at LTP 4,407.00, change 110.85 (2.58%) and Oberoi Realty at LTP of 309.80, change 6.60 (2.18%)

Losers:
Some of the stocks that shed high during the post lunch session were Opto Circuits – LTP 89.30, change -6.70 (-6.98%); Gail India – LTP 371.35, change -16.80 (-4.33%); REC – LTP 243.05, change -10.60 (-4.18%), HDIL - LTP 116.05, change    -4.80 (-3.97%) and Aurobindo Phar- LTP 188.55, change    -6.85 (-3.51%).

The NSE Nifty was also posted loss during the post lunch session on Tuesday; it was traded at 6,063.10 points with down -19.20 points or loss of -0.32%.
