Daringbadi is also known as the Kashmir of Odisha. It is the only place in Odisha, where one can experience snow-fall during winter season.

The place is filled with pine jungles beautiful sceneries, locations, valleys and coffee gardens. Daringbadi, is located in Kandhmal District, of Odisha, and is at a height of 915m.

Daringbadi is surrounded by thick rain forest with wild animals. There are many places that you can visit in Daringbadi.

 There are two coffee plantations, which are maintained by Forest Department of Daringbadi, this is an idle spot to picnic, and a place that is must see.

Belghar Sanctury is located at a distance of 50 km from Daringbadi. It is spread over an area of 1, 67,446 acres, the thick forest homes a number of endangered species of animals and plants. Long tusked wild elephants are a pride of this forest.

The tribal people living in this region are known as Dogria Khond the most primitive tribe of India. Many nature lovers visit a wooden bungalow at Belghar.

Kotagarh Sanctury Baliguda subdivision of Kandhamal district. The dense lush green forest with many scenic beauties is a major attraction of this place.

This Sanctury homes many wild species such as sambar, spotted deer, peafowl, red jungle fowl, tiger, elephant and gaur.

Daringibadi can be reached from Bhubaneswar (311 km) and from other important places of the state by regular bus services. The nearest railway station is located at Berhampur (127 km).
