Mobile Internet Users Boom in India

It seems very strange to come across any person without a mobile in India. The mobile mania has been on top since last decade, as the mobile users have been increasing rapidly.

The boom in mobile usage has also led to usage of internet in their devices. According to a survey conducted by Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI), as reported by media, the number of mobile internet uses to cross 167 million by 2015. At present, there are around 87 million mobile internet users in India by December 2012.

It is believed that the cheap internet package has been attracting more and more mobile users towards internet usage in their handsets.

Most of the latest mobile phones posses social networking sites, which could the second major reason that making mobile internet more popular than ever.

Apart from the voice services, the mobile device has been also helping users to keep them updated with the latest internet trends and be in contact with their online friends through social networking sites.
