Satyam Computers directors meeting ends

On Monday, the first meeting of the newly appointed directors - former Chairman of HDFC, Deepak Parekh, former NASSCOM President Kiran Karnik and former SEBI member C Achuthan, was held, according to media reports.

The three newly appointed directors by the government of India held a press conference in Hyderabad on Monday. It is believed that appointment of the Chairman would be finalized by them following induction for some other directors into the board.

The directors would study the scam in the company and try to sort out all the challenges to run the company smooth. The appointment of the Chairman and CFS would be the prime target of the board of directors, the media reports quote. The board will also look after the interest of the employees and investors in this tough time.
