Aircel the mobile service operation is likely to sell its 17,500 towers, according to media reports, the Chief Operating Officer Gurdeep, the company is holding talks with companie over the sale. The Aircel group is a joint venture between Maxis Communications Berhad of Malaysia and Sindya Securities & Investments Private Limited. This may be a cost cutting approach by the company.
