Mineral production is growing and on the track of growth again. According to a official data, India's mineral production has grown to Rs 8,817 crore in October. The sector has set growth of around 8.25 per cent as comparing to the figures were achieved in the month of September 09. The growth of the mineral sector is phenomenal, it is a sign of recovering from the global slowdown. In 2009, the IIP was seen in negative marks.
