RBI Governor Dr. D. Subbarao Called on Finance Minister Pranab

Business News This Week: The Governor of Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Dr. D. Subbarao called on the Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee on Saturday. This meeting was over the quarter credit policy review of the RBI. The meeting last for around 75 minutes on Saturday.

Dr. Subbrao had discussed the credit policy strategy with the Finance Minister. The market is speculating more from the credit policy review by RBI. The soaring prices and food inflation may be the major concerns the RBI has to address. While reviewing the credit policy the RBI may change the Cash Reserve Ratio (CRR)and interest rate. Any change in the interest rate and CRR would have huge impact on the Indian economy and capital flow in the market.
