Speaking at the annual Economic Editors' Conference in New Delhi, the Finance Minister of India, Pranab Mukherjee said on Tuesday the Indian economy would grow at 8.25 - 8.75 per cent this fiscal.
The annual Economic Editor's Conference was attended by around 300 journalists from across India.
The finance minister stressed that the India economy was recovering from the clutches of global slow down and thanked to the fiscal stimulus measures were taken to check the impact of economic slowdown.
During the slow down, the government of India had taken many fiscal stimulus measures to check the impact of economic slowdown on Indian economy, industries and companies.
