Indian Stock Market in Green: BSE Sensex Up 372 points, ends at 19,957

Both BSE Sensex, the sensational index and Nifty closed at 372 points and 120 points respectively on Monday.

BSE closed at 19,957 and Nifty at 6,010. The Sensex was opened at 19614.68, reached highest in the in the day at 19989.02.

The first trading of the week was favorable for the investors and the banking share were at high pick.

The banking stocks registered 2.64 per gain in the market on Monday and the banking shares contributed 106 points in the growth path of the Sensex.

The IT shares were also achieved some preference of the investors. The IT shares registered a growth of 2.50 per cent.
