Tata to recall some Nanos to install fire safety

Concerning over the five fire catching incidents with Nano cars in various parts of India, the Tata Motors today said that the company will recall some of Nanos to install fire safety measures.

Tata Motors Nano was launched in March 09. There were reports of fire catching incident with the small car in India. Around 70,000 Nanos are running as of now on Indian roads.

The number of vehicles to be recalled is not clear yet.
