Business News: The food inflation in India has dropped to 10.63 per cent for the week ended November 5 from 11.81 per cent recorded in the previous week, according to the date released by the government of India.
The finance minister expressed happiness over the decline in the food inflation. The food inflation was recorded 11.81 per cent for the week ended on October 29. The food inflation is haring around 20 per cent share in the headline inflation, which is measured by the Wholesale Price Index(WPI). This slide in the food inflation is a good indication for the common man and the people would be optimistic that it may down further by few points, so that they can pay less for the same amount of the goods and services in the market.
