Business News: The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex snapping yesterday's fall ended in green on Tuesday, the second day of the week trade, at 17257.36 points with up 204.58 points or 1.2 per cent.
The Nifty as was also gained 58.90 points or 1.2 per cent at 5265.65 points.
Both market were in volatile in the intraday trading.
The improvement was seen in the market particularly after the media flashing the sources of the finance ministry clearing its stand and action over the GAAR, the participatory notes.
In the Nifty the top losers were Maruti, BHEL. And the top gainers were DLF, Cipla, Sterlite and in the FMCG sector the gainers were HUL, ITC, Dabur on Tuesday. In the Midcap, the gainers were India Cement, Crain India.
The Nifty as was also gained 58.90 points or 1.2 per cent at 5265.65 points.
