Stock Markets in India close in Green

Business News: The stock markets in India closed in green today giving a good lead and push to the scrips on Friday.

The Bombay Sensex closed at 17,361.74 with 165.27 points up, while the Nifty closed at 5,278.20 with 49.75 up points.


Lets have a look on the indices : Sensex opened at 17,257.72 on the Firday mornig and touche the high at 17,458.35 and dipped to 17,179.33 in the interaday trading.

The Midcap was opended at 6,329.89 and gained 38.30 points. SMLCAP gained 26.66 points.

In the sectoral, FMCG indices open at 4,366.00, advanced to 4,425.74 and plunged dip to 4,361.10.

However, at the end of the day FMCG stocks gained 50.40 points and change in the percent by 1.16 per cent.
