In a significant development, the management of Air India has sacked 10 striking pilots and derecognised the union of Indian pilots - Indian Pilots Guild. According to media reports, the management reportedly terms the strike by pilots as illegal.
Four international flights were cancelled by the Air India following the 100 pilots reported sick and not turned up to their work. Medial teams have been sent to pilots residents those reported sickness.
