HUL has over 35 household leading brands like Dove, Clinic Plus, Sunsilk, Pepsodent, Closeup, Axe, Brooke Bond, Bru, Knorr, Kissan as Lux, Lifebuoy, Surf Excel, Rin, Wheel, Fair & Lovely, Ponds, Vaseline, Lakmé, Kwality Wall’s and Pureit.

The company’s annual turnover for the financial year 2011 – 2012, was around Rs. 21,736 crores.

Unilever is one of the world’s leading suppliers of Fast Moving Consumer Goods and is spread in more than 100 countries.

HUL is the subsidiary of Unilever; Unilever recorded an annual sale of about $46.5 billion in the year 2011, across the globe. Unilever has a share holding of 52% in HUL.

• HUL has witnessed a growth of 18% in the domestic consumer business with 9% underlying volume growth.
• HUL’s Profit before Interest and Tax (PBIT) increased by 25% with PBIT margin improving 140 basis points.
• HUL has seen a growth of 20% in Profit after Tax but before exceptional items, PAT (bei), to Rs.2, 592 crore with Net Profit at Rs.2, 691 crore growing 17%.
