Punjab Mail derails near Rohtak

Mumbai-Ferozpur Punjab Mail derailed on Sunday morning at around 3:30 am near Rohtak in Haryana. 25 passengers were injured in the accident, while rescue operation has been resumed.

In the accident, eight coaches of ill fated Mumbai-Ferozpur Punjab Mail derailed in the wee hours when all the passengers were in deep sleep. All the injures were rushed to PGI hospital in Rohtak. According to media reports, 300 meters railway track was damaged in the derailment.

Kolkata: Fire tragedy at AMRI Hospital , 73 dead

At least 73 people were died in a fire incident in Kolkata on Friday. According to reports, fire broke out in the building of the AMRI Hospital on Friday in which at least 73 people have lost their life. The hospital is located in Dhakuria in south Kolkata.  It is said to be one of the biggest fire tragedies in West Bengal.

Gulf Air flight skid off runaway at Kochi airport

Major disaster averted on Monday when a Gulf Air flight skid off runaway at Kochi airport in Kerela. Seven out of total 137 passengers were injured in the mishap. However, there was not big mishap reported.
