Airtel Gets Approval from Bangladesh over Warid Deal

Bharati Airtel gets green signal from the Bangldesh's telecom regulator over the deal to purchase 70 per cent stake in Warid telecom. Airtel had proposed to buy the 70 per cent of state fro $300 million, according to media reports.

Bharati Aritel is the biggest mobile company in India, and the takeover will help to get new mobile subscribers. Warid telecom is one of the biggest telecom companies in Bangladesh. The rising mobile subscribers in Bangladesh is the positive indication for Airtel which will take over the one of the major telecom company in Bangladesh. The venture of Airtel in the telecom market of Bangldesh would be good initiation for the company, as it will get more and more new subscribers.
