The capital of India - New Delhi was seen in panic for couple of minutes due to earthquake that hit Iran on Tuesday evening.
Major earthquake hit Iran other neighbour countries on Tuesday. However, in India, the quake was measures less, while it was at around 8 at the epic center of the earthquake in Iran.
On Tuesday morning, the earthquake was felt in the Assam measuring 4.6 on Richter scale. The earthquake was also felt in some the parts in UAE.
“Quake occurred quake occurred at 6:53am on latitude 26.3 degree North and 92.0 degree East with its epicentre being in Darrang district of Assam in India” The Regional Meteorological Centre said.
Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat, Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh states were felt the earthquake tremors.
