Keeping aside all that has happened in Boston Marathon, London is all set to go ahead with London Marathon scheduled for Sunday.
Nick Bitel, London Marathon Chief Executive said, "Our security plan is developed jointly with the Metropolitan Police and we were in contact with them as soon as we heard the news of the Boston bombings,"
Hugh Robertson, UK sports minister said that "The best way to show solidarity with Boston is to continue and send a very clear message to those responsible that Britain will now cower to terror."
Julia Pendry Metropolitan Police chief superintendent said "We will be reviewing our security arrangements in partnership with London Marathon,”
Double Olympic champion Mo Farah, and 36,000 runners, will take part in the marathon. And five lakh spectators are expected to watch the marathon.
