Mumbai, May: BIG MAGIC, the ultimate comedy destination from Reliance Broadcast Network has recently launched the weekend omnibus of their flagship shows like Total Nadaniyaan, Narayan NarayanChulbuleNaradkiNatkhatLeelayeen, HarMushkilKa Hal Akbar Birbal. Starting 24th May, every Sunday will be special as the channel ropes in gorgeous and talented Kavita Kaushik to take over as the host of the omnibus. 

The versatile actress has not only won millions of hearts with splendid performances, but has also been well received as an anchor for many prestigious shows.

While audiences sit and enjoy their favorite shows, Kavita will be seen upping the entertainment quotient with her humour and wit. With Sunday maha episodes, the actress will be seen introducing the show and the characters while taking the viewers through episodes that have already aired. The omnibus is a huge advantage to viewers, as they can catch the episode highlights that they may have missed the previous week.

Little Raavi meets Amitabh Bachchan

BIG MAGIC’s Raavi is ecstatic! Recently one of her biggest dreams came true where she was given the chance to meet none other than the living legend Amitabh Bachchan.

According to a source, the little livewire (essayed by Rimmi Srivastav) ran into Amitji during the promotions for his upcoming film. And as is her habit, the chhota badmaash couldn’t resist the opportunity to ask the living legend her favorite question – Kya mein ladka hoon, ya ladki? Amitji was quite surprised that Raavi is actually a girl, not a boy.

“I finally met Amitabh Bachchan!” gushes Rimmi Srivastav. “I can’t believe I got the chance to meet him. It was such an amazing opportunity. Just like everybody else, he was also fooled thinking that I was actually Ravinder” she said laughing.

RAAVI is a story about a little girl whose mother takes a dramatic life decision to disguise her as a boy, due to peculiar circumstances. This initiates an extremely interesting cat and mouse game cleverly handled by little Raavi who plays dual roles dexterously.

92.7 BIG FM celebrates Music Maestro Khayyam’s 88th Birthday on ‘Carvaan-E-Ghazal with Talat Aziz’

Mumbai : 92.7 BIG FM, India’s No.1 FM Network, celebrated the 88th birthday of legendary musician Khayyam, one of India’s most gifted music composers, at the 92.7 BIG FM studios with Ghazal Maestro Talat Aziz today. Aziz will delight listeners in a special episode of ‘Carvaan-E-Ghazal with Talat Aziz’, featuring the legendary musician which will be aired on Saturday, 21st February at 9 pm.

Khayyam sahab is well-known for his memorable music in the late 70’s and early 80’s – he has composed music for movies like Trishul, Thodi Si Bewafaai, Bazaar, Kabhie Kabhie, Umrao Jaan and Noorie. He has worked with both the contemporary as well as legends in the field of poetry. His work has been profiled by Mirza Ghalib, Daagh, Wali Saheb, Ali Sardar Jafri, Majrooh Sultanpuri, Sahir Ludhianvi, to name a few.

Delighting fans and honouring the genius musician, 92.7 BIG FM invited Khayyam sahab to the show as a guest. The special episode will reveal to listeners some of the composer’s never-heard-before stories, successes, learnings, and anecdotes from the industry. In an event held at the 92.7 BIG FM studios, Talat sahab and Khayyam sahab interacted with the media and shared a few excerpts from their upcoming special episode of Carvaan-E-Ghazal.

‘Carvaan-E-Ghazal’ is a first-of-its-kind show on radio that offers Listeners a unique opportunity to appreciate some of the most beautiful ghazals, qawwalis, sufi music and unheard-of stories behind them. Be a part of Dariya-Dilli with Raavi

Little Santa Raavi

The cynosure of all eyes, the innocent Raavi has impressed one and all with her mischievous antics on the show. Now this little bundle of joy impresses us with her golden heart. As a part of a noble initiative Dariya-dilli, Raavi, dressed as little Santa, will collect warm clothes and distribute it to the people in need.

To collect the warm clothes, little Raavi dressed as little Santa will make appearances on BIG MAGIC prime time shows- Mahi Sagar, Love Dosti Dua, Kis Din Mera Viyah Howay Ga and Nadaniyaan on 25th December from 7:30pm onwards. She will interact with the lead actors of other shows and collect warm clothes from them to donate it to the people.

Says Rimmi Srivastav, “It was so much fun dressing up as Santa Claus and visiting other shows to collect warm clothes as a part of Dariya-dilli initiative. I hope our gesture will bring smile to peoples face.”

The initiative will culminate with Raavi distributing the clothes collected at the Dariya-dilli event in the show on 27th December.

Raavi is a witty, quirky story of a girl who grows up disguised as a boy in a Punjabi household, outwitting everyone and challenging society norms. While Raavi’s true identity is hidden, in the larger interest of safeguarding villagers as well as her own family’s stakes, it initiates an extremely interesting cat and mouse game cleverly handled by little Raavi who plays dual roles dexterously. With a novel story plot and a child in the center of it playing dual roles, the show is sure to take audiences on an enjoyable entertainment experience.
