Indore: Day Care Centre celebrates the distribution of grocery with the senior citizens where they use to distribute the budged grocery of rs.1000/- to each particular individual every month.

The group of “being responsible “is the social group founded by Mr. Atul Malikram which ever believes in innovating things and comes up with the new idea of creating a society as an NGO where they can help the needy peoples for the social welfare so for the same all the members of the board get together in a proper meeting and brief regarding their activities.

Senior Citizens are the people of old age who belongs to the age group of 60 yrs and above. This stage of age is the old age which consists the ages nearing or surpassing the life expectancy of human being and thus the end of human life cycle. Old people often have limited regenerative abilities and are more prone to diseases and sickness other than younger adults. The study of diseases that afflict the elderly is geriatrics. The elderly also faces other social issues such as retirement, loneliness and ageism.
Old People are especially vulnerable to loneliness and social isolation which can have a serious effect on health but there are ways to come up loneliness which can be possible if the younger people like us decide to take a step in the welfare and in support of old peoples.

Many times we come to see that younger generation disobey their seniors just because they became old they do not provide any attention nor even care for them. Looking for the same the group of being responsible started a project as Adopt a Grain for the senior citizens where they are been provided with the grocery which is all about adding joy to the lives of these senior citizens.

The idea behind the distribution of grocery is to help senior citizens for fulfilling their basic needs and requirements so that they can never feel helpless and frustrated.
Mr. Atul Malikram president of being responsible always thing on a large scale for the betterment of Senior Citizens. He reacted to his happiness and said.” I am very happy to see that all the veterans coming here have shown curiosity in learning new subjects of the modern age, and we at day care centre try to provide maximum facilities to them. We have been successful in our endeavors till now, and are confident to continue with the same spirit in future also.”


About being responsible

Being responsible is a social group of Indore city, aiming to provide various social services to the society. The group is running the following activities at present:

Indian Senior Citizen Award 2013

Indore 24th July 2013: As the last date for submission of nomination form for Indian Senior Citizen Award 2013, is coming nearer, the participants who have filled in nomination forms are eagerly awaiting 1st October 2013 when 19 senior citizens of our country will be parts of never happened before award competition “Indian Senior Citizen Award 2013” by becoming winners and receive awards.

Indian Senior Citizen Award 2013 is a competition of its own kind, conceptualized by being responsible, a social organization. Based at Indore, organization aims to serve society and exploring talents of senior citizens of our country is their goal.

It is presumed that with growing age, a person becomes weak and cannot work properly, but if we look around us only, we can find several old persons who despite growing age, are still fit and doing their work properly. Many of them, besides their own work are also extracting time for doing social services for betterment of society and humanity. Under the situation, if such stalwarts are given due recognition and honored for their contribution to society and country as a whole, we are sure, a new energy will generate therein and they will discharge their services, more effectively.

On the other hand, we see other kind of elderly persons also who have surrendered themselves before present circumstances. Such persons include retired persons who expect the same treatment and respect from homes and society, they have been receiving before retirement, and if due to one or another reason their desires are not fulfilled, they take it seriousely and punish themselves by becoming victims of unwanted ailments.Such elderly persons require additional care and under the circumstances, some one is required to look at them so as to make them happy. being responsible, has been studying the feelings of elderly persons of all sorts from inception year 2012 and searching the right opportunity to invite elderly persons of country to exhibit their talents before all.

With an intention to honor the elderly persons of the country, who have done extra ordinary work after 60 years of age, particularly for the benefit of society and humanity, being responsible is organizing an award competition titled “Indian Senior Citizen Award 2013” to be held on 1st October, 2013, the senior citizens day.

The salient features of ISC 2013 are as under:

1. Any indian senior citizen above 60 years of age can participate in the competition
2. Participant will have to fill in nomination form and send the same to being responsible before 31.07.2013. Those who have not filled in form, can just dial 097550 20247 for registration.
3. Total 19 winners will be selected by members of Jury
4. Each winner will receive cash prize, trophy, shawl-shreefal & certificate

Atul Malikram, President being responsible says “We have taken all care to send our invitation to maximum senior citizens of the country, and have sent nomination forms to more than 50 cities till now. It is a matter of pleasure that senior citizens are taking interest in the event and started sending duly filled in nomination forms to us, which will be sent to jury members for identifying winners. This is the first stone of success and we are confident that senior citizens will make ISC 2013 a grand success by actively participating in a very healthy competetion. We are thankful to former cricketer Shri Sanjay Jagdale, noted urdu poet Dr. Basheer Badra, Yuva RashtraSant Bhaiyyu Maharaj, voice of Indore Dr. Rahat Indori, popular singer Anup Jalota, famous actresses Farida Jalal and Deepti Naval, Social worker Shabnam Hashmi & Miss Iran, Melica Amina, for accepting our request to select winners of ISC 2013. Day Care Centre started at Indore

Indore: The leading social organization of Indore, being responsible ever believed in doing some thing new. This time they have come forward to form a platform for senior citizens of the city, where they can spend their day time  with each other , in a healthy atmosphere . Day Care Centre Situated at 148 B Mahadev Totla Nagar, Ring road Indore was inaugurated on 21^st December 2011 in presence of seasoned senior persons, in a traditional way. The auspicious lamp was lighted before the goddess Saraswati and prayer was offered.
