VS Acharya likely to be CM of Karnataka

VS Acharya, the Karnataka Higher Education Minister and one of the senior leader of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)is said to be ahead in the race for the chief minister in the state of state.

The political crisis in the state deepen following indictment by the Lokayutka report in illegal mining scam, of B S Yeddyurappa, the chief minister, who is likely to resign this Sunday.

BS Yeddyurappa is one of the most senior leader of BJP having good relationship with the RSS. And a leader representing Lingayat community in the state.

Acharya urged the party to make B S Yeddyurappa as the president of the state BJP unit on Saturday.
