The show Kaun Banega Crorepati KBC-6 started again on Sony with an enthusiasm for the people of our country. The host of the show is the veterinary actor Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. He starts the show with a poetry based on the power of knowledge “Na Roop Kaam Aata Hai, Na Jhoot Kaam Aata Hai, Na Jaati Kaam Aati Hai Na Baap Ka Naam Kaam Aata Hai, Sirf gyan hi aapko aapka hak dilata hai”. This poetry gives us a message how much knowledge is important for us.
It gives a chance for a common man to see dreams of their wish and then convert it into real by winning it. People from across the country come to participate in this most popular game to sit in the hot seat. The biggest winners who fulfill their dreams by winning Rs 1 crore from KBC are Harshvardhan Nawathe 1st winner of season-1 the 27 year old Mumbaikar who had just appeared for his IPS exam, a 14 year old Ravi Saini from Vishakhapatnam won Rs 1 crore in KBC Junior, Vijay and Arundhati Raul from Rourkela won Rs 1 crore in KBC ‘Pati-Patni’ special, Ajay and Kajol played for charity on a Dusserhra special episode, Brajesh Dubey an electronics engineer from Guna won Rs 1 crore in season 2, Rahat Taslim is the first female to win Rs 1 crore in KBC and at that time she was running a tailoring class and had just Rs 3 of talktime credit on her cell phone and she used it to send an SMS to enter the show, Sushil Kumar a computer operator from Bihar was on of the fortunate to won the Jackpot of Rs 5 crore in season 5 who was earning only Rs 6000 per month, Anil Kumar Sinha a banker by profession won Rs 1 crore, Manoj Kumar Raina a railway employee from Jammu won Rs 1 crore in season 6.
