Personal responsibility leads to Success

IN · · Leave a Comment
Most of the people spend time criticizing their circumstances, situations, persons or even God responsible for their misery and unhappiness. But the point they miss out is that, no one is responsible for either your success or for your failure there are people who have come out of hell like situations in life and yet could prove themselves as exemplary persons.

Take for example lotus, though it derives its life from the mud underneath it remains totally unattached to it and blossoms beautifully remaining untouched by the mud. I believe that it is the best example we can ever take. It doesn’t blame the mud or the dirty surroundings, and it gives no excuses it continues to have its own entity though living there.

We should learn that quality from lotus; we should not keep blaming our parents, friends or circumstances and fate for where we are. Instead we should assume and take up the personal responsibility to correct and our own lives and shape it the way we want.

When you take up the responsibility for changing yourself and your life you will see that life becomes easy and you become more confident about what your life holds for you. As long as you wait for the circumstances to change and people to change so that you can go on the path of success easily remember it is not going to happen.

So, if you want to go on the path of success, be accountable to your own self. What did I do today to better myself personally and professionally, did I learn a new skill or have I improved in my behavior. As long as you keep asking these questions to yourself you will keep improving in all aspects of your life.

Taking responsibility onto yourself in all aspects of your life, in everything right from your health to inner development is the only key to open the doors of success. So, if you want to see success accept responsibility of improving yourself in all aspects and keep working till you realize your dreams.

Watch out your company: There is a saying that goes like this “show me your friends and I will tell you who you are”. This is not just a saying but golden words from someone who has studied life. Always try to keep the company of those people who are more experienced than you in work and life. People who are successful, motivational; who lead life like leaders by helping others and adding value to their life. When you keep the company of such people you have their influence on you and you start to learn from them life’s important lessons.

Never give up: If we compare the lives of people who are successful in their life and are leading an exemplary life with the lives of those who are experiencing failure, there is only one single difference and that is successful people pursue their dreams till they become reality. And people who are experiencing failure in either personal or professional life are those who gave up working for their dreams. Reasons may be any but the end result is same those who work till their dreams become true become successful. So you should never give up as whatever the situation may be and shouldn’t stop until you achieve your dream.

Vision: People who are successful are those who have dreams and vision in life. If we lead life without any motive or purpose then life becomes meaningless. A person with vision is the one who has control over his future as he knows how he wants his future to be and goes in that direction. Vision gives motivation and it helps us becoming better every day to lead life with purpose.

Have faith in yourself: Faith is everything in life whether it is towards God or any other person or ultimately yourself. It is faith that leads people. There is a saying that goes like this “what others say about you is their opinion about you not your worth”. So having faith that there is a purpose in your life and you have all the capabilities to accomplish it is the core aspect.

As every day progresses improve: Some great person has said that if you lead the life the same way as you did yesterday without any improvement or progress in any sphere that is no life. With every passing second and with every passing day, just think what values you’ve added to your life and to the life of those around you. Try to improvise yourself by improving your capabilities in every possible area, because life is meant to improve and to progress.

Motivation
Motivation is the key ingredient that determines a person’s growth in professional life. A person who is self motivated, has far better chances to succeed, and climbs the career ladder fast than others in the race. A person with no dreams and goals in life and doing work just for the sake of work, and doesn’t love his work, has far less chances of growth. Everyone has a motivating factor that drives him to succeed in life. For some it is money, for some it is name and fame, for some it is love, it differs from person to person.

What is the motivating factor that drives us to work, that is the factor that is responsible for our success? But what happens usually is after some time, when we fall into a routine, we start losing interest in the work that we have started. This is the time when we have look into the reason that has motivated us to start the work. We need to contemplate, we need to get back to the roots and need to assess, as to what is it that we want from work what motivated us to take the first step towards the work or business.

When we remember this again, that key factor, that made us start our work. That is the motivating factor, that will lead us to the road of success. The performance levels of the persons who are self motivated and those who do work for the sake of work are entirely different. In each person’s life there will be some incident or person or dream that makes a person start his journey towards success in professional life, that is our motivating factor, if we constantly remember that factor, and then we will definitely succeed in professional life. Given all the amenities and a person with no motivation will achieve nothing, but a person with driving force from inside, and self motivated sky is the limit for him.
